Mad Tea Party 2011
Thank you for coming to my Mad Tea Party.
We'll have to walk a short way to the party.
Here is the door to my secret garden...
Take a peek through the keyhole...
Do you see him?
I'll give you a few directions on how to get to my party as the white rabbit moves much too quickly. Follow him if you can.
Unfortunately, it's very easy to get lost around here.
Please follow the winding path and when you get to the end...
You'll find a moss covered tree with a small door
How do you get in?
There's a magical drink beside that branch.
Please have a sip. Not too much.
Only a little is necessary as you'll find.
Once through the door you'll find me underneath the white blossoming tree. It's eternally Spring here.
Welcome to my tea party!
Please have a seat and stay as long as you like.
Please help yourself to some fresh strawberries, berry charlottes, blackberry and passionfruit macarons!
The Queen of Hearts has insisted that I share my Berry Charlotte recipe. Otherwise, the next time I visit Wonderland it will be "off with my head." Yikes. I better not delay! Thank you for stopping by.
I hope you enjoyed my Mad Tea Party.
I must also thank Vanessa of A Fanciful Twist for hosting the party.
Please check out other Mad Tea Parties HERE.

ps The food looks delish !
So sorry I am late
ReplyDeleteFor this important date.
I'm still making my way down the list.
With too little time
I'm leaving this rhyme
For I'm adamant about wanting to persist.
All this running about
Has left me dry in the mouth.
Might I have a cup of tea?
And your berry charlottes
And those lovely macaroons....
Oh and yes, thank you for the recipe.
Oh my, the time
It goes so fast
I must be on my way
But fear not friend
I shall return
Please……Have a beautiful day.
Your tea party photos are beautiful, as is your blog. Please drop by and visit my party as well!

ooooh yummy! Thanks for the invite to your lovely and delightful party. All those photos were awesome! I love the sign post to all the magical places do you own that? Do you have a recipes for the macaroons? I think the charlottes are great but I have disabilities in my arms, and I fear they may be too much work for me. (sad as I used to bake so much, and home canning also) but both arms are compromised in different ways.
ReplyDeleteThanks again, and please come to my party :)
